A van hit my bike recently in Tampa, FL and I ended up with a fractured hand. Since the accident I’ve missed work and even normal daily tasks have become difficult while recovering.

I’ve already started handling medical treatment and insurance matters, but I’m unsure whether situations like this are something people usually pursue legally in Florida. I’m mainly trying to understand what options are normally available in cases involving injuries and lost income.

Any general advice would be appreciated.
