Feeling lost and don’t know how to move forward
23F with a Bachelors in fashion merchandising and about to complete an MBA. I’ve been through 2 jobs so far in the fashion industry as a wholesale coordinator and assistant buyer respectively but I’m realizing that it’s just not as fulfilling as I thought. I’ve been passed up for promotions and I don’t think there’s much opportunity for growth here anyways so I want to try changing fields but I don’t know where to go. The job market feels so hopeless right now and I can’t get any interviews anywhere. It’s starting to feel like getting the MBA was a waste of time too because it feels like it’s not doing me any favors. Has anyone else here transitioned out of the fashion industry? Where did you turn? I feel like I need a more creative job than analytical.
