Switching to Physics
Hello guys, I completed my Mechanical Engineering degree(didn't like it a single bit)in June 2025. I always wanted to study physics but due to some stupid reasons given to my teenage self, I had to choose mechanical.
Now I really want to be in academics but finance is a big issue in my life. My country does allow for pursuing a Master's in Physics after I qualify for some cut throat competitive exams, preparation for which will take me 1-2 years.
I want to do PhD as well but again I can't afford to ask my parents for fees for like 28 years or something
Do you guys have any suggestions about what should I do, like any relevant suggestions. Maybe changing country or something
