Hey guys!!! I was in deep reading slump for about a month, but finally I'm out with this book! Yahuuu!!!

From a long time, i wanted to read a book where the narrator/protagonist/main character is a prostitue. I wanted to understand the blacks and whites of their lives. I cam across this book " An educated woman in prostirution" by Manada devi.

Manada devi, apparently, she was prostitue. It is her memoir. The book is pretty short ( about 115 pages).

I love the reading experience. A new perspective. A new narrator. But I feel disappointed. I had expected that author will bare her soul in this book. But the book couldn't pull its weight.

There are lot of things author is saying, and i don't agree with them. The biggest ick for me was :-

Manada devi frequently says that " Her runniation started becoz of novels, poetry and going to theatre". This does not make sense to me. Reading novels does not make you a prostitue.

Books feels a tad bit of outdated to me.
