Financial question. About living in Swansea

Looking at moving family of 4 to swansea from overseas with 2 young school age kids. Looking to scale back work and our take home income might be around 2500 to 3000 pound. Fortunately we would have a paid off house so no mortgage. My question is do you think this would be fairly doable? We are pretty frugal people and enjoy mostly outdoor activities that don't cost to much.

Moving family back from usa

I am thinking of moving family of 4 back from usa to swansea area( kids around starting school age). Hoping to scale back jobs and would likely be bringing in 2500 to 2900 pounds per month after tax but would have a paid off house. Does that seem like you could live a decent life without being extremely frugal (we are not luxurious people anyway)on that income nowadays? Haven't lived there for 20 years.
