Starting placement
So please tell me honestly, should I already know a lot about ABA? I am about to start a placement and I've only been in college for 2 years now. When meeting with my supervisor she sounded like she expected me to know so much about ABA and like everything about it basically but I think I disappointed her with my answers which were based off what I remembered from class. My brain also froze up when she started asking me questions so I couldn't even come up with any straight answers. I had a previous placement which I ended up being rejected because they said they wanted someone with more experience even though they said they didn’t expect me to know everything and I was thinking that I don't know how else I'd get experience except from classes and doing placement? All this makes me feel really down because I'm new to ABA and I do want to learn and do well, I also find that I learn more when I do it hands on but I haven't really gotten the chance yet. I also feel bad because my other classmates, when they talked about their placements they didn’t get grilled like me or have to go through a lot of headaches to get accepted into a placement but then again most of them have the previous experience. I'm just ranting at this point but I just feel like I will struggle in this role too because I don’t know so much about ABA
