Good news for anyone wanting to move to a 7% tax zone: through Art. 26 of Law no. 34 of 11 March 2026, they have now been expanded to include towns of up to 30,000 inhabitants, effective as of 7 April 2026.
(Of coure this makes no difference to anyone wanting to move to Rome, but it's useful information in general.)
