You can feel from beneath your feet, a rumble is approaching. The red demon is coming from for you...
《VERMILLION》, class Drake kaiju, is highlighted for its joyful malice, comparable to human sadism.
RED on the body.
RED in the head.
But GREEN on the spikes, warning the venom lethal enough to corrode any material in one forceful contact. And one could only wish to keep up with its speed.
The sense of uncanny valley spreads when this creep chooses biped, which heightens it up by at least 5 meters, bringing it closer to 【The Hoarder】 waiting near heaven's light.
Luckily (or unluckily), the demon knows other activities besides torturing its preys, such as transporting a Greater Cocoon through the tunnel systems hidden in the orange ravine, slipping through tiny gaps like a rat with poison sweat coated from head to tail.
Hence the name "Vermillion" : cinnabar's reddish "mercury", the god of swift delivery himself.
※※※ TRIVIA :
- Along the earth rifts of arid desert canyon area on an unknown planet, where Vermillion inhabits, our inspectors discover many skeletal body of lesser beasts with corrosion and assault marks, and without some smaller pieces. These remains suggest that Vermillion has cannibalized its own specie members.
- The design is influenced by a stray cat I recently befriended.
