I live in a country where cannabis is legal, and on a recent domestic trip I used the front pocket of my mini suitcase to store a joint and grinder. I’m concerned this has left residue on the suitcase, as the joint ended up being crushed.

In a little while I need to fly abroad (the route always transits through Abu Dhabi) and I’m scared I’ll be arrested for 10,000 years. Last time I went through there, they were randomly swabbing people’s carry on luggage at the gate.

Can you clean a suitcase of marijuana traces? Do I need to buy a new suitcase? Am I being overly paranoid?
