I'm considering booking the Devil's pool (or Angels pool) tour with Livingstone Island for late December.

I'm aware that there is only one licensed tour group that does the trip, so will be booking direct, but I'm deciding between their 'Walking' or 'By Boat' options. Aware the walking option has an additional $20 conservation charge not included, while the Lunch and High Tea by Boat options come with alcohol beverages. The shuttle from Zimbabwe is also $30pp, is this worth it or can I just walk and easily get a taxi?

Would be keen to hear others' experiences, and if you recommended walking or by boat, and what timing during the day?
