Edit, Don't Stack: If a prompt doesn't work or you make a mistake, don't send a new message to correct it. Edit your last message instead.
The 15-20 Message Rule: Claude re-reads the entire chat history with every new message. After 15-20 messages, ask Claude for a summary, copy it, and paste it into a brand new chat to continue.
Batch Your Prompts: Combine multiple questions or tasks into a single message rather than sending them one by one.
Set Output Limits: Stop Claude from writing essays when you don't need them. Add specific limits to your prompt, like "Tell me in 2 lines."
One Task = One Chat: Keep your chats focused. Mixing too many topics in one long chat slows the AI down and burns through your limits.
