What should I wear for a commoner's outit for the renaissance faire?
Hello Reddit, the title sums up the question but I have more to add. You guys in this subreddit have helped a lot before so I suspect you will again. Anyway, to the point. This year, I wanna make my first costume for the renaissance faire, but I'm not sure what to use for my idea. I've had the idea of just clothes, a cloak, belt, and dagger. However it's SLIGHTLY too boring. So for an extra addition to the clothes, what would you guys suggest, based on history? I've looked at jerkins, aprons, all that jazz, but you guys will have a better idea of other stuff. I'm looking at clothes around early 1400s England, even though I know that's before the renaissance, but whatever. Thank y'all in advance!
