I leave for Tokyo tomorrow with my American-born Japanese husband. We’re mostly staying in Tokyo for a week and visiting Enoshima for a day and Mt. Fuji for a day.
I’ve done a lot of research and felt confident packing shorts (not booty shorts, but mid-thigh) with a tshirt, some maxi dresses, and a few nicer sleeveless blouses. I have a Jean jacket to cover my shoulders for temples. Several YouTube videos, websites, blogs, etc. said they’ll know I’m a foreigner and it’ll be okay as long as I don’t wear them to temples.
But now I am second-guessing as my FIL sent a Facebook video which says to have no shorts at all. I leave tomorrow and can’t Amazon order same day and I’m worried I should be out looking for pants that won’t cause me to overheat..
