If you're thinking of using beach pebbles in your garden...
Just remember that they're not exactly low maintenance. I love the effect, but generally end up spending two hours every spring clearing them of fallen leaves and random bits of garbage that have blown in from the street.
No regrets on my part, but I didn't really know what I was in for.
