I’m trying to find something easier to carry around because our current setup is heavy and not practical when I’m alone with my toddler. We switch between family cars, taxis, and sometimes rentals so I need something less stressful to move around.

Is it better to go for an ultra light seat or slightly heavier ones that feel more solid and secure? And how do you usually decide if a seat is still good for daily use even if it’s marketed as travel friendly? thank you
