35M 6'4 260lbs Please help me evaluate past Knee MRIs and advice to overcome chronic pseudo knee locking
Rt Knee 2014:
New area of bone marrow edema with overlying deep cartilage fissuring in the
lateral tibial plateau.
- Postoperative changes consistent with prior microfracture surgery involving
the lateral patellar facet and trochlea with slightly more prominent full
thickness cartilage defect noted within the lateral patellar facet and femoral
trochlea.
- Slight increased prominence of complex tear involving the posterior horn and
body and partial tearing of the posterior root of the medial meniscus.
- Postoperative changes consistent with partial lateral meniscectomy without
definite findings of re-tear.
Lt Knee 2019:
Impression:
1. Further progression of lateral compartment cartilage loss with deep and
full-thickness cartilage loss along the lateral femoral condyle and lateral
tibial plateau.
2. Enlarging full-thickness chondral defect in the lateral trochlea with
otherwise unchanged partial thickness cartilage loss elsewhere in the
patellofemoral compartment.
3. Unchanged minimal cartilage loss in the medial compartment.
4. Markedly diminutive and irregular appearance of the lateral meniscus status
post prior meniscal tears and partial meniscectomy. This appears unchanged from
prior MR in July 2017.
