Interosseous membrane of the forearm injury

I took a significant impact to my forearm 2 weeks ago. I have a large bruise that spans the full length of my forearm, and a fairly large hematoma (it's down to grape size from grapefruit size). While it was a painful injury, the worst pain has been here in the second week, and seems to be getting worse. Now at night, I experience the worst pain I've ever had in my life and haven't slept properly for many days.

I did have an X-ray 5 days ago, and it showed no breakage to the bones. I had referral to an ortho, and they said I probably have some soft tissue damage, gave me steroids and suggested heat. I've been on the steroids and heat for a couple days now, but it seems to be getting worse, not better.

After learning more about the anatomy of a forearm, and considering the location of my pain and what's remaining of the bruising, I've come to believe I have some injury (maybe tare?) to the Interosseous membrane. I just don't know what to do now.....is there anything I can do about this? Should I see another doctor, perhaps the ortho again? Do these things typically resolve on their own? I cannot handle much more of this pain, nor the lack of sleep.

I will say visually, things look better each day. The pain at night though only continues to worsen.
