Looking for books like the title. I love me some obsessed mmcs that are desperate to be physically intimate with the fmc. The clingier and needier the better. I love my books dirty and spicy. I absolutely love when the MMC tries to convince the fmc to stay with pleasure (there’s a lot of this in {silenced by Serena ackeroyd}).

As far as genre goes, I love it all. I love some morally black mmcs in dark romance, feral mmcs in paranormal/fantasy, needy/clingy alien or monster mmcs. Down for all of it!

My best example for this is {Liars like us by JT Geissenger} He leaves for several days for reasons, and when he comes back, he says exactly this followed by some hot sex.

I prefer dual pov but like one pov when done well. Big nos for me are cheating and over the top ow drama.

I have been on a huge paranormal romance kick this year and have been loving it. I discovered both of these series this year and love them and was wondering if anyone knew of anything similar. I’ve read all of Abigail Kelly’s and some of Immortals after dark at this point, planning on reading them all! They are both interconnected standalones with an overarching world/plot and so, so fun!

Things I love about them:

Obsessed, Possessive MMCs

Fated mates involved (some just the MMC has a bond and the fmc does not, love those the most)

Fun and beautiful world-building (many different types of super naturals with large histories and interesting politics at play)

Badass, strong FMCs (usually powerful with their own female friends, lots of times their own coven, their own histories and plots and plans; this is missing so often and is infuriating) (I especially love stories with witches)

Beautiful love stories

Lots of delicious and hot spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Lots of different species of paranormal with their own culture and magic systems (like witches and demons and vampires and mermaids and more!)

The characters are funny and unique

Anything like this? I know there’s a lot of paranormal romance with little world building or the FMC drops in and leaves her whole life behind. Those are fun sometimes but just not interested in it right now.

{Immortals after dark by Kresley Cole}

{The New Protectorate by Abigail Kelly}
