These Pistons pity party posts are pathetic... We're tied 2-2 in the Eastern conference semis against a team that was one of the favorites to win the east to start the year. Why are we whimpering? Everyone accusing Jalen Duren of losing that dog clearly lost theirs along the way. Yes, Duren needs to be better but he's not the only one. This community needs to too. Moving discussions to offseason decisions while we're still in strong position to make the ECF is weak shit.
The Cavs, one of the betting favorites to make the finals this season, is fighting for their lives in that if they don't advance, their team is about to get taken apart. On the other hand, our group of young 20-year olds are learning what it takes to win in the playoffs. We're at different timelines and again, the series is 2-2! Cleveland hasn't lost at home yet, this is why getting the 1-seed is important. We're far from out of it! Shit, it's on the Pistons to play better these past two games, and the refs to officiate better and on us to rally when the Pistons need us.
Anyone not showing love to the guys can get off the bandwagon. It's 2-2 and we got a big game tomorrow night. If you don't believe, go fishing for karma somewhere else.
