It doesn't happen too often with me these days but these distinguished gentlemen have fallen this week.

2008 Bunnahabhain Manzanilla cask : You're going to learn a hell of a lot more about Manzanilla with this one than Bunnahabhain. Very strong cask influence. Not worth the price I paid for it but maybe if you got it at a decent discount? 78/100

Rip VanWinkle 10y : Won it at the Wine & Beyond lottery in 2023. It's really decent. Mrs. Hex's favourite bourbon. Much more enjoyable than Blantons. I just think I lean more towards a good Old Forester or E.H.Taylor than this one. Still, glad I was able to purchase and try a bottle. 81/100

My ratings:

90/100 and up - This is a home run. I am crashing your website and knocking over baby-strollers to get a bottle. Probably pay a small premium or search secondary markets for it.

80/100 - I'm paying my own money for this and will repurchase (if possible) when I bottle kill.

70/100 - Thank you for pouring me this! No I will not be purchasing a bottle. Probably the best option at the bar though.

60/100 - Did you buy mix to go with it?

59/100 and lower - why even bother?
