Anyone tell me what the brown mark on my eye is?

Got an iris photo taken and there a brown dot on the bottom of my eye. But when I look at my eyes normally I don't see it. Not asking for medical advice just wondered what it is. Photo 2 is of my eye normally.

Questions about patio edging?

Hi,

I'm laying a patio for my mum. It will be my first time soloing a project like this. And I've heard contradicting things about the edging. When I try to look up I'm just getting plant areas edging or plastic runners nailed into the ground. So was just looking for some advice on how best to do it.

It going to be 35mm paver slabs on 50mm sand, 100mm of MOT Type 1. It's got low footfall so as long as it's well packed down the sub base, it shouldn't dip.

Some people have told me to do the edging first, some last.

I've been told to lay the MOT, then do the edging directly on top of that. But that would mean the edging breaks need to be 85mm high. Does this sound correct to people.

Or should I do that patio then dig a trench and fill with concrete and bricks line it?

Or do people have a better way of doing edging.

Thanks for advice.
