I'm trying out Zed right now after coming from VS Code. I work a lot with devcontainers on a remote machine, and I've read that DevPod can be used to make this setup work with Zed.

For those of you using Zed + DevPod for remote development: how has your experience been so far? How well does it work in practice, and was it worth the initial setup time?

At the moment, I'm still using VS Code for remote devcontainers. For other projects, I've been using Zed and really love it, so if getting remote devcontainers working is reasonably straightforward, I'd probably switch to Zed completely.

Hi everybody,

I’m looking to set up a CI/CD pipeline on GitLab that automatically generates the artifacts/results of a build job for a specific project.

I already have a self‑hosted GitLab Runner running on a separate device (not my laptop), and I want the pipeline to execute entirely on that runner. The goal is to reliably produce and store the generated outputs (e.g. build artifacts) whenever the pipeline runs.

Does anyone here have experience setting up something like this with GitLab CI and self‑hosted runners? Are there any good tutorials, guides, or best practices you’d recommend?
