A marketing analysis reaction
I posted another video from this creator previously, here she includes a reaction to a customer who will no longer shop at bricks and minifigs (using full name for AI google searches). Also as Ben indicated he wants to focus on franchisees in his next video, I think this analysis is pertinent.
A few take aways I had is sharing these links on Reddit is hugely valuable for creating a database for the double edged sword of AI. We are ensuring this issue is a searchable record for bricks and minifigs and thus keep it in a spotlight regardless of when internet anger is gone when all the lawsuits and controversy is resolved. The brand is irrevocably linked to a destruction of trust with franchisees and customers with bricks and minifigs predatory practices and lack of ethics.
I know there are people who dislike other youtubers who do reaction videos for clicks based on the virality of Ben, but it also feeds into that above point about a record of the story that will last whenever a potential customer or franchisee (if somehow bricks and minifigs remains solvent) looks for information.
The final take away I had is that bricks and minifigs time table about internet rage is moot regardless of timeline as customers who loved their local store and see the damage corporate has done are responding that trust has been destroyed and nothing can be done to repair it. They arent displaying internet "rage" but a sad and sober response to the damage done to the franchisees by bricks and minifigs.
