We need to be honest with ourselves

Cam Ward put some bad tape on film, he did not have a good game, he missed throws that he absolutely, 100 percent should be making, and we are not allowed to pretend that Ward’s good drive to start the game means that we can ignore the following two

It has to be said that it was not just Ward, the Titans 1st team did not play well against the 49’ers backups, Flott got torched on a deep pass and had a pass interference in the end zone, Skoronski (I think, but am not sure, I’ll have to go rewatch the play) got beat and Cam Ward was sacked, but was bailed out by a 49’ers penalty, it was a bad game for the first team, lot of missed tackles, we looked like a 3-14 team

That’s not to say that if the 1st team had more reps the. They may have redeemed themselves later on in the game, but let’s hope for a week of good practices and a better showing in week 2

Running back rankings

  1. Derrick Henry has the consistent production of Eddie George, the consecutive years being the number 1 back in the league of Earl Campbell, and the high water mark, record setting season similar to CJ2K, Henry is uncontested at number 1

  2. Chris Johnson had 6 consecutive 1,000 yard season, as well as his legendary 2k season, where he not only rushed for 2,000 yards, but was also a 500 yard receiver, putting him at 2,509 yards from scrimmage in a single season, a record that still stands to this day

  3. Earl Campbell had 5 1,000 yards seasons over the course of an 8 year career, is one of only 4 backs in history to lead the league in rushing for three consecutive seasons, almost hit 2k yards in 1980 (1934) and is the only back on this list to be in the hall of fame

  4. Eddie George has 7 1,000 yard seasons over a 9 year career, but his best season was only 1500 yards and he never lead the league in rushing

Hypothetical trade, we could package Will Levis and a 5th round pick to trade back up into the 4th and draft Anez Cooper, guard out of Miami, is that too expensive or not expensive enough? What is Will Levis’s trade value? Will Tennessee draft an Olineman in 2026? And who will play center for the Titans? Maybe we should target Brian Parker, center from Duke instead, either way I’m sure that Borgonzi has a plan, Titan up

I heard a commentator say that Cam Ward is going to be scrambling and is going to make these crazy “Carnell Tate is down there somewhere” throws, and that Carnell Tate is going to pay off for Tennessee, I love that we got Cam some damn help, Tate had zero dropped passes last year, I’m a fan of the pick, also a fan of the Faulk pickup, it sounds like a Robert Saleh “ima defense whisperer and I’m gonna turn water to wine” pick

As we get ready for the daft, I think my preference is for us to draft Ruben Bain, but I have never been more unsure about what I want the Titans to do, I’m torn between drafting Bain, drafting Love, trading back, or going with Bailey/Reese if Bain and or Love is drafted ahead of us, I am less of a fan of drafting Styles, but man I have no clue which way Tennessee is going to jump
