Did EBC this April and can't wait to go back to Nepal again next year March!
But it's been really hard shortlisting which treks to do lol. Time is not really that big of an issue because I have roughly 3 weeks, which should be enough for most treks.
Anyone care to share which other treks they have done after EBC, or any treks they are planning?
Hi all, I'm planning to do the Manaslu Circuit Trek next April.
I understand that the Larkya La Pass is at a lower altitude than EBC and Kala Patthar, but I've often read reviews that the MCT's terrain is more "rugged"? I have a few questions on the MCT, especially wrt how it differs from EBC:
(1) How are the accomodations like? I know it's teahouses, but compared to the ones at EBC (usually private rooms with attached toilets until Gorakshep), are they much worse? Just want a gauge!
(2) Larkya La Pass is at a lower altitude than EBC and Kala Patthar, but most people seem to say that MCT is harder? May I know why?
(3) As someone who has done EBC, what would be the biggest difference between the 2?
