SAVE THE HOLLY: Preserve Park Hill's Last Black-Owned Commercial Block Community Petition

The Holly Shopping Center in Park Hill is the last Black-owned commercial block in the entire neighborhood—and it's at risk. For decades, it's been a gathering place where families built memories, businesses thrived, and generations found belonging.

This isn't just about a shopping center. It's about making sure Denver's Black history, entrepreneurship, and community legacy don't get erased as neighborhoods change.

I started a petition asking the city to grant the Holly historic landmark designation and protection. If we don't act, we risk losing a vital piece of our community's story forever.

If you grew up there, shopped there, or believe this history matters—please consider signing and sharing. Anyone else from the Park Hill community who remembers what the Holly meant to families?
