Adopted rescue decompression help

We have recently adopted a dog from eastern Europe. As far as we know she was a friendly well adjusted dog in a rescue often socialising happily with humans and other dogs.

The journey seems to have her very shutdown.

Its been a week and she doesn't come out of her cozy bed/den when anyone is around. She come out, only a few steps, at nighttime to have a drink and eat. She is not toileting much, assume that all related to the stress side of things. Holding in wee for days.

We do sit near her sometimes but she mostly hides her head when anyone comes near the room.

When she's more awake in the evening she will look around the room from her bed.

Treats dont work. Only when we leave them on her bed will she eat them when we leave the room.

I'm not sure if stroking her helps as lots of advice says its not helpful when they are fearful.

I wonder whether other have had a similar experience?

They say 3 days to decompress. As I say we're at a week with not much sign of improvement.
