
i agree with Mr. Lowe on modern adventure games.
I have had many discussions with indie Developers on here and other places about modern adventure games and the lack of gameplay. How they really don't make adventure games, they're just making walking simulators, a half step above movies or TV shows. Which is now more of a controversy than ever with that new mixtape game, which so-called game journalist are giving 10 out of 10 to. That game took the Telltale formula one step further and basically removed all gameplay lol. For the record if you like that type of game cool but please do not call it an adventure game because it is not.
Now to my topic, for some reason my algorithm on YouTube has been pointing me towards Sierra videos and retrospectives. Well I came across an interview with the great Al Lowe, the creator of Leisure Suit Larry and most of the UI features we associate adventure games with. He basically makes the same argument as me.
