Hello!

I just finished the big main piece for this top. Now I’m working on the rest (not the shoulder part just yet, because I’m not sure if I want to do that in that way)

I want to focus on making it actually wearable now. Could I have some advice on how to do the neck part (so that it also doesn’t fold…someone mentioned using smaller rings for the inside?) it also needs to be able to clasp. What type is best to use for that thick of a band?

Also for the back, I want to put the “ties” at/around the corners and have it clasp together back there too (or maybe not! Advice is welcome there too). Does anyone have a recommendation for what kind of weave would be best for this? Or what kind of way of connecting it? (Straight across, in an X shape, etc.

Alaskan mountains, bordered with lead came.

This is the most tedious piece I’ve done yet and I’m HAPPY TO BE DONE!! I’m also very happy with how it turned out, despite being a little wonky….the lead came was a bit difficult to cut and fit in the corners. But I’m learning ◡̈

* i used a pattern on Etsy that I unfortunately think might’ve been AI… but now I’m working on how to spot that!

Now to either add a chain or make a wood stand for it! Any suggestions? Any tips or feedback is also appreciated!!

Hello! I’m trying to do the following project, but for some reason cannot figure out the best method of building out and attaching the top of the scale mail portion to the neck part.

Does anyone recommend anything or any tutorials to help this process?
