They really do seem like a healthy couple in season 2. Robin in later seasons is portrayed with more flaws, but now, watching the show like it's my first time (even though it's not), i do get what the writers meant by wrong time right person. Yes, lifelong love with one person is awesome, but tracy and ted, both, got the privilege of finding love beyond that. I guess there's a deeper meaning behind that. Point is, I really do believe, before things got really complicated and messed up, ted and robin were in their own pretty darn good for each other.
