Help in understanding DSA

Final year CSE student here. Need some genuine advice.

I solved a lot of array questions and can even solve medium-level problems on my own sometimes. But my issue is with revision. I used to write every question + logic in a notebook, but after 2-3 months when I revisit it, it literally feels like alien language and I can’t understand my own notes properly.

So how do you guys actually make DSA notes?

Do you write every question and its logic?

Or just patterns/concepts?

Doc or pen-paper?

How do you revise efficiently?

Another problem is recursion. I’ve tried learning it multiple times over the last 2 years. I study for 3-4 days, get confused/frustrated, stop, then restart again after some months. Same cycle repeating.

At this point I genuinely feel maybe tech/coding is not for me. Sometimes I feel like doing MBA and getting out of IT completely.

Did anyone else feel like this during college?

Would really appreciate honest suggestions from seniors or people who went through this phase.
