Hi all, I’m a tutor at a tutoring center and worked at different ones, and I also do like private tutoring online on my own.
BUT working at the tutoring centers I realized that the spreadsheets and different systems blah blah blah. So then I talked to all these centers and made like a centralized app (auto reminders, attendance tracking, etc.). This was iterated over a few months, and there’s real usage.
Now my thing is, how is this different than the 100 other softwares? So the one thing I thought really hard and came to was automating the scheduling itself. So basically like per term (I.e. summer) you send out a for which they fill out the availabilities and subjects. Once everyone’s is in, you can click auto generate and it places them in the most optimal schedule, like condensing so you spend less hours and no gaps in schedule and subject matching.
Basically, this was done and made over months so the whole workflow is implemented. My question through is, is this even that useful? Because there could just be self booking but I guess that won’t satisfy EVERYONE. Basically seeing if auto scheduling is useful or not
I think the centralized system and this connection would be useful especially for the ones without any system and has a good amount of tutors and students but not sure.
We are running a few free pilots but not sure what exactly to fix. Centralized platform does seem to help but I’m looking to solve some pain-points and places where automation can come in
