Social security disability
Has anyone successfully filed and received SSD for Erythromalagia? I reviewed the list of allowed allowances on the SSD website but EM is not listed. It’s quite disabling for many of us.

Vein ablation/treatment
Has anyone tried vein treatment in their legs for EM to reduce blood flow? I haven’t been advised by my doctor to try this, but like many of you I am my own researcher/advocate for this horribly hard-to-treat disease. I’m not sure if it would even help but I’m desperate. I had an ultrasound done on my veins and valves a few years ago by a vascular surgeon but not while I experienced an actual flare (which I should have induced so he could see my veins bulging) because he was pretty dismissive.
