Stick with old account or start new?
Hi guys. I have a question because I don’t know which one is best to do.
I have an old TikTok page with 1k followers. It used to be a Pokemon related page but i haven’t touched it in over 2 years.
I am now considering starting a new TikTok page which will be horror movie/game related
My question is, would it be more beneficial to start a completely new channel from scratch, or just completely redesign my old Pokemon page and “train” the algorithm to show that it is now a horror page?
The benefit to using my old page is that it already has 1k followers and would look established to new viewers. On the other hand, I don’t know how well the algorithm would take it. It may not ever see my page as a horror channel, which would limit my views forever.
Does anyone have any experiences with completely switching up an old TikTok page of theirs and if they had any success?
