I’m getting my ACL reconstruction in a few weeks. What are some products that those who have recovered from surgery swear by?
I’ve been looking at the Aircast cryo knee cuff that will do both the icing and compression. Is it worth the money to make recovery a little easier?
Is there anything else I should consider buying??
I completely ruptured my ACL whilst skiing in January which got fully diagnosed through the NHS at the end of March. I desperately want to return to skiing (I am very much an amateur but it’s something I want to keep progressing with), but I don’t know whether I should have the surgery or not? Looking for any opinions and insights on people that were in a similar situation before going ahead with the surgery. Luckily I am covered by Bupa so can get the surgery done privately in the next 8 weeks. I have also started physio and I’m 29, just to add these to the mix.
