I have a travel voucher on Maryland that is enough to get myself and a friend to South America this summer. The problem is that we are struggling on making a decision between Peru or Colombia. I have been to Bogota in the surrounding area a few times and I absolutely love it, but my friend has never traveled to South America before. I am very interested in both of these places so I need some help.
If you had 10 days to visit either , which would you choose ?
- for Peru, would involve Cusco, Sacred Valley and likely Titicaca.
-Colombia would be 2 days Medellin, and then into the mountains to explore cloud forests / bird watching / hiking.
Hopefully someone out there can give me a little advice on which way to go. Thanks so much in advance.
