I never quite knew what to make of this text, or what specifically caused the vessel to crash. Perhaps, like the quantum shards which affected their surroundings, the eye of the universe has caused the entire solar system to take on quantum properties. The nomai warped in, and thus caused all the possibilities to collapse into one. And the one that resulted, ended up being one where the destination of the vessel happened to be inside of dark bramble.
I'm not entirely sure why only the quantum moon behaves in this way in the game though, perhaps because hearthians are observing all the other planets? The only one I don't like is dark bramble, I don't believe feldspar being on the inside of dark bramble should cause it to remain fixed. Not quite a perfect theory, but otherwise I don't quite understand why they became entangled in dark bramble. There are logs that reference vines having fused with the ship, so I'm certain some sort of quantum superposition is the ultimate cause of the crash, I'm just not sure of the exact mechanisms that brought it about. Anyone have a better explanation?
