I have an older ASUS laptop that’s still working fine for basic stuff, but it’s not eligible for Windows 11 and with Windows 10 support ending, I’m wondering how I can still make good use of it instead of letting it collect dust.

Any tips, tricks, lightweight software recommendations, performance tweaks, or even alternative OS suggestions? Curious to hear what others did with their older laptops.

Inter Core i7 7700HQ
RTX 1050 ti 4GB
16GB Ram

Mostly im looking for play games on it. What tweaks should be good to run games in smooth.
