Hello all:

I'd like to make my FIRST BUY soon. Of all the TDs I've contacted, Lucy @ TRUETIME168 has, by far, been the most responsive answering watch, bracelet, and parts questions. And sent photos of the parts on the watch, ie., OysterFlex band on a 126622 watch.

So I see TRUETIME168 listed as a TD (on this site only) but I don't notice where the actuao TD Reviews are to placate my newb jitters.

Any comments, anyone? THanks.

I'd like to summarize my newbie understanding of the watch buying process for comment, correction, or any additional input that knowledgeable readers here might offer me.

I've sent specific model emails or WhatsApp inquiries to several TDs and the responses are rather mixed. A majority of them are responding with a price and URL links to generic pages on their websites in answer to my specific questions of:

- What's the specific movement being used?

- What's the specific manufacturer being used?

Is it fair or useful to ask these TDS for their evaluation of the quality of the platinum plating used on the bezel in the specific watch or is that really beyond their capabilities?

Or if the date wheel alignment problems are visible or fixed?

Will the photos they send to me actually be pictures of the actual ordered watch or will they be generic pictures sent to them by the manufacturer at some point in time? If so then what really is the value of the QC process?

I've pretty much decided on the model I want. Yacht Master VSF 126622 Blue dial, VS3235 movement

This post is really to help set my expectations for the reality of the remaining steps of the buying process.
