Should I get rid of my cat?

So I've had my cat Trixie for around 3 or 4 years and when I moved into my dads place she started peeing on the carpet in certain areas we thought it was because the previous owner had a dog and there was dog pee everywhere but we cleaned it up but ig it was saturated in the wood cause we think she smelled the dog pee in the wood so therefore she thought it was okay to pee there we finally replaced the carpet with hardwood and thought she would stop and she mostly has but still pees on the wood every now and then. my brother had to move in with us a couple of months ago, and he sleeps in the family room with a mattress, and he has a tarp sort of kinda around the mattress and she’ll pee on the tarp and maybe like the edge of his blanket sometimes my brother is basically over it, he told me that I should get rid of her cause she pees on everything she has other problems too like she's scared of everything even though I've had her for years. I just don't rlly know what to do cause on one hand I've always wanted a kitten and my dad won’t let me get another cat but I've had Trixie for a long time and I don't want her to go to a bad home.

Ps, I took her to a vet a long time ago and she's healthy and I tried one of those things where you plug it in the wall and it sends an aroma that’s supposed to stop cat peeing and calms your cat down but it didn’t work at all lol. Ty for any advice

Edit, thanks for all the advice the ones that actually gave me advice that is lol. Ik this post doesn’t do me justice I should’ve reworded it in some places but giving her away is my absolute last option there's a shelter I used to volunteer at when I was younger that ik will take care of her and will give her to a good home but again that's the last option I will try and take her to the vet and make sure she's good and try other stuff that you recommend. y'all have a nice day/night:)
