I’m going to lose my mind.

I bought a Reed 5301PDCOMP power threader, which had the reamer, cutter, and universal die head. I can’t for the life of me get a proper thread on either 3/8” or 1/2” pipe. With the handle closed, the dies seem to be completely out of alignment.

If I make a small adjustment on the thread size, It either makes a thread where the fitting is too loose, or literally destroys the pipe by crushing it.

Suggestions?
