Is baptizing babies illegal

So everyone loves Hod and not everyone loves priests, so why do priests baptize children and not Hod, it doesn’t make sense.
So I went down to a church to fix this grave mistake in society and starting dunking children under water, but instead of thanking me they all got mad and started yelling at me so I had to leave :(
Apparently that church was on the middles turf to and now they are yelling about forgetting something about me and I think I might be in trouble but I didn’t do anything wrong, do you know why they got so mad I just wanted to help them.
