Hi There,

Not sure if this is relevant but I am based on Canada. I was laid off May of 2025 and given salary continuance till April 2026. I also had a baby and have been on parent leave since last year. I am now planning to go back & rejoin the workforce, I know it’s a bloodbath out there and I was wondering which day should I reflect as my employment with my company?

I also went on maternity leave late 2025. I am wondering which day I should reflect as my last day on my resume May 2025 or April 2026?
