I have a Circ-Master 1/15HP, 230V Circulation pump. I had turned the temp down when adding fresh water and planned to heat it up during off peak hours. This caused the hush pump to temp shut down which I expected.

When I went back later, the pump was buzzing and hot! I was able to get it going on its own after assisting it with a screwdriver on the shaft end slot but it doesn't seem to be running up to full speed (the flow indicator is now showing). Is this a sign the capacitor is fried or is it time to replace the motor? It is 10 years old.
