Join the protest today against the invoking of the draconian NSA on the Noida labour activists!
History is a witness...
History is a witness... there's no prison that can silence the spirit of those walking the path of Bhagat Singh.
A month has passed since the arrests of activists Rupesh Roy, Akriti Choudhary, Srishti Gupta, Manisha Chauhan. Since then, hundreds of workers and three more activists, Aditya Anand, Himanshu Thakur and Satyam Verma have been illegally arrested by the UP police under false charges in the Noida Violence case.
We salute the spirit of the workers and activists and strengthen our resolve to fight for justice with this poem by Kavita Krishnapallavi.
> Aditya Anand and Himanshu Thakur were already subjected to custodial violence after their arrest and were forced to sign blank sheets of paper.
> Afterwards, he (Aditya Anand) was taken to an undisclosed location, where the police tried to videograph him picking up some planted objects—a diary, a bag, and petrol-filled bottles. When he refused to do so, he was physically attacked by 4 persons, including the Investigating Officer Harinder Rana and S.I. Mohit. Aditya Anand sustained multiple injuries from this assault, including a swollen and possibly fractured middle finger, a swollen head, and wounds on his hands. The next day, his MLC did not record his head injury.
> (Himanshu Thakur was) made to sign a document without being allowed to read it fully.
> Himanshu was taken near Shiv Shaktipeeth Shani Mandir, where certain items, including a black diary, yellow textured papers, an ID-like paper, and his phone, were planted. He was then made to retrieve these items while a video recording was conducted.
> The accused have also reported that all questioning, fabrication of evidence, and custodial torture took place outside the bounds of any CCTV coverage, further violating the court's orders.
