Hi everyone, I wanted to ask what you think about educational games. I have an idea for a math-based game, but I’m not sure how to attract the “typical player.”

The main thing I want to avoid is making the game feel like being in class. I want it to be genuinely fun and enjoyable, even for people who aren’t really into math or aren’t very good at it.

What do you think makes educational games actually fun to play?
