2 weeks post-op
Got my second cast (a “walking cast”) on today at 2 weeks post op - had to stretch my Achilles to 90 degrees. It was like a medieval torture session! Lord. It’s so funny how orthopedic surgery is so technical and detail oriented and then some of the rehab is like yep just crank it to this position and hold it with plaster.
Can start bearing weight - not today bc it hurts like hell!
Wearing this for 3 weeks and then transitioning to the boot and starting PT.
Progress!
