I won't explain the nuances of it but in the race for Queen of Pop, Adele and Billie Eilish have their own seat of Pop royalty adjacent to the Queen/King.

Firstly, not a bad ceiling to have but as far as pop girls go, Slayyyter just hasn't broken through in popularity and the genre isn't exactly notorious for late bloomers. In both their cases, I argue that the general population is at fault, not their work. Overall, both make great music for their subgenres but achieve mediocre broader popularity.

With the Boomers and Gen X reducing due to age, music discourse will have more Millenial and Gen Z influence. Linkin Park and Paramore will be some of the biggest beneficiaries.
