My first axe done and restore by myself, what do you think guys ?

My uncle passed away recently and he really liked his axes when I was younger. They were always sharp with a solid handle and ready to cut wood.

So I tried to restore one of his axe with what I can found in the garage(You can see on one pic how rusty it was). I couldn't find a perfect wedge for this handle but this one seems to be good enough and the axe head doesn't move anymore. I know it's not perfect but for a first time it seems pretty okay to me. What do you think guys ?

If you have any advice for me don't hesitate, I don't know much about axes, I will be more than happy to learn some new axe stuff from you guys 😁

I have another axe that I really want to restore, it's a long axe with a very beautiful handle that he made by himself in the wood, so yeah every advice is more than welcome 💪
