I was also disappointed na walang bearing ang abstention, but attacking the student representative itself is just an assh*le move, especially given na ikaw pa ang humahawak ng Grievance ng IAS SC. ‘Yan po ba ang role model?
I just noticed how consistent the attacks have been even before the election period began. Is this still a rally, or may personal galit ka na talaga?
The COMELEC Co-Chair already acknowledged the sentiments of the students and publicly stated that they support the petition and would side with the students regarding the issue of abstention. But your response? Ganyan ba ang student leader?
Professionalism? Accountability? Against bullying pero parang bully ka rin naman yourself.
The Co-Chair admitted the shortcomings, explained the internal situation, acknowledged the frustrations of the student body, and even expressed willingness to support reforms moving forward. That already takes accountability and courage publicly, especially coming from someone within the system itself.
And let’s be realistic here. Just because someone is part of the system does not mean they alone control every decision or policy overnight. Systems involve deliberation, approvals, and multiple people involved in decision-making. And you, under the OSI and admins, should know that. Marami ngang problema na nangyayari because of the admins itself.
You could have criticized the process, the implementation, or the institution itself without turning it into a personal attack against someone who already acknowledged the concerns publicly.
You are free to be frustrated. Students have every right to be frustrated. But there’s a difference between criticizing institutional shortcomings and targeting an individual just because they finally chose to speak up publicly.
At this point, it honestly feels less like advocacy and more like personal hostility.
